Newt, Texas, 1974: a group of boys is killed by members of a family of cannibals among them Leatherface, bulldog armed with a chainsaw and fitted with a mask in human skin. Only one girl is saved and tells what happened to the local sheriff who, with his men, lay siege to the house of the family to hand over Leatherface. The sheriff's request is accepted, but the arrival of some angry villagers precipitate the situation. The house is on fire and the family exterminated. Several years later, the young Heather - she, the daughter survived - learns from the parents not to be their natural daughter, but to be the offspring of a bunch of monsters.
